- Scheduled caste sub plan activities are being implemented in six villages of Adilabad, Karimnagar, Medak and Wanaparthy districts of Telangana State covering around 711 beneficiaries
- Demonstrations on castor, paddy and red gram were conducted in 511 SC farmers’ fields. Seed of improved cultivars of castor (DCH-519 (200 kg)), paddy (RNR 15048 (12500 kg) and KNM 118 (2250 kg)), red gram (Hanuma (152 kg)) were provided to the SC communities
- In order to create awareness on balanced fertilizer application and encourage SC farmers to use single super phosphate (SSP) and potassium instead of DAP, 500 q of SSP and 250 q of murate of potash was supplied
- In order increase the income of SC beneficiaries and encourage back-yard poultry, Rajasri birds (5000 nos) of 40-45 days along with feed were distributed in four villages of Wanaparthy and Medak districts of Telangana state
- In order to save the farm harvest produce from un-seasonal rains, Tarpaulins (150 no.) were provided to women SC beneficiaries. Battery-cum-hand operated sprayers (130 no.) were provided to landless labourers for reducing the drudgery and increasing the efficiency of their work. Farm implements such as inter-cultivators (30 no.) were provided to SC beneficiaries in Gudithanoor and Dhampur villages in Adilabad district
